Students from the ENEP program train to fight hydrocarbon fires

    May 6, 2014

52 students from the Energy and Processes (ENEP) program attended a training course on risk management in Normandy on 6 May 2014.

The course took place on the site in Vernon which belongs to the Groupe d’Étude de Sécurité des Industries Pétrolières et Chimiques (GESIP).

It gave the students training in fire-fighting methods and techniques and also the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of extinguishing real fires (hydrocarbons, gas, etc.).
