    Pétrofolies 2015

    June 9, 2015

The traditional Pétrofolies, IFP School’s sports day, took place on the afternoon of 28 May 2015 at the Stade du Parc in Rueil-Malmaison.

Around 250 students of the 2015 Class formed teams to take part in the 9 events of the tournament, which included activities such as sumo wrestling, life-size foosball, volley-ball and ultimate frisbee. One activity was to create an “original” photo of the team: to do so, each member of the IFP School staff team stretched themselves out on the ground to spell out the name of the School - the Dean himself joined in the fun!

The event started with a solidarity run, organized by IFP School’s SPE Student Chapter in aid of the 2015 Class Gift.

The aim of the Class Gift is to raise funds amongst students to finance Excellence Scholarships for French and International students who will join the School in September 2015.

The 71 participants were showered with colored powder as they ran the 3,5 kilometers. Registration fees for the race raised 355 €.

The event ended with a prize-giving ceremony illustrating the values of IFP School: openness, solidarity and responsibility.
