    IFP School’s visit to Japan

    February 3, 2016

During his mission in Japan in November 2015, Pierre Duret, Director of IFP School’s Center for IC Engines and Hydrocarbon Utilizations, met with the representatives of 3 major universities particularly renowned in the sector of Powertrains and Mobility. The aim was to discuss academic partnership possibilities with IFP School, with Professor Yasuo MORIYOSHI from the University of CHIBA, Professor Norimasa IIDA from the University of KEIO and Professor Yasuhiro DAISHO from the University of WASEDA.

These meetings also allowed IFP School’s graduate education offer to be presented, most notably the English program « Powertrain engineering » (PWT), which has welcomed 4 students from the University of Chiba since 2008. In this context, two Japanese students from the current PWT cohort and one professional who graduated in 2012 were interviewed so they could detail – in their mother tongue – what had weighed in their choice to study at IFP School and what their School had brought them in terms of career objectives. These videos were met with great success by the Professors and students there.
