Beginning of classes at IFP School

    September 8, 2016

To kick-start the admission of 290 students to IFP School this year, the traditional Integration Week was organized to discover the School, the town of Rueil-Malmaison and the environment they will learn to become familiar with all through the year.

The new Class was greeted on Thursday 1st September by Philippe Pinchon, Dean of IFP School, then invited to a welcome breakfast. Divided into cross-program and multinational teams, the students then participated in several workshops such as the Sustainable development workshop accessible through a mobile app using augmented reality, the Language workshop or the Improvisation game workshop, the idea being to present the School’s functioning and environment to the new students.

On Monday 5th September, the evening was devoted to a reception hosted by the Town-hall of Rueil-Malmaison at the Maison de l’Europe, and introduced by Dean Philippe Pinchon, Didier Houssin, President of IFPEN and the Counselor for Research and Higher Education at Rueil’s Town-hall.

On Friday 9th September, the students’ integration pursues with a rallye across the town centre, along the River Seine banks, and at the historical Château de la Malmaison, organized jointly with the Tourism Office. The day finishes with an entertaining and sportive challenge at the Château of Vert-Mont.

Three teams are finally awarded prizes corresponding to the School’s values of Openness, Solidarity and Responsibility.

We convey to all the students of the Class of 2017 our very best wishes of success!
