    October 18, 2016

The 9th edition of IFPEN‘s Energy Transition Day, organized by IFP School’s Class of 2017 students was held on 13th October 2016.

IFPEN projects in the field of new technologies for energy, environment and transport were presented to raise awareness among the students on energy and environment issues that they will face during their career.

Didier Houssin, CEO of IFP Energies nouvelles, presented the current energy context, raised the energy transition theme and talked about the future challenges to be taken up.

Workshops around IFPEN’s three strategic priorities were then organized, namely Sustainable mobility, New energies and Responsible oil & gas, as well as an interactive roundtable about energy transition bringing the event to a close.

During the roundtable, students were able to exchange with world energy players (The Brussels Office, CNRS, IEA, Renault Nissan, Total Energies Nouvelles).
