    Congratulations to the new doctor!

    On Friday 1 December, Florian Perroton defended his PhD thesis entitled “The economics and regulation of natural gas pipeline networks: four essays on the impact of demand uncertainty” at IFP School.


    His thesis was jointly supervised by Olivier Massol (IFP School), Andreas Ehrenmann (Engie) and Alain Ayong Le Kama (Paris Nanterre University).


    His research was assessed by an international jury of experts specialized in the field of energy economics: Mrs Anna Creti (Paris Dauphine University), Mr Ruud Egging (NTNU, Norway), Mr Lionel Ragot (Paris Nanterre University), Mr Sauleh Siddiqui (Johns Hopkins University, USA), Mr Christoph Weber (Duisburg-Essen University, Germany).


    In December 2016, Florian had also won a prize for second best student research article concerning energy economics, awarded by the Association des économistes de l’énergie (French Energy Economists Association) for his article on The economics of rate-of-return regulation in the natural gas pipeline industry (picture).
