IFP School SPE Student Chapter field trip in Malaysia and Singapore

    May 17, 2013

Thirty students of the Petroleum Engineering and Project Development (DEG) and the Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering (RGE) programs of IFP School traveled to Malaysia and Singapore from 3 to 13 May 2013 as part of the field trip organized by the IFP School SPE Student Chapter.

This field trip aimed to expand students' knowledge of the oil and gas sectors by visiting key international players based in Asia.

The IFP School SPE Student Chapter is the oldest branch of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in France. It aims to promote the exchange of technical knowledge among students through conferences and meetings with professionals in the energy sector.

The field trip is an annual event organized entirely by members of the IFP School SPE Student Chapter. This year's trip took place in two countries with more than 10 technical visits (Petronas, Schlumberger, Technip, Total, etc..) and many cultural activities.
